I know this is a bit overdue but remember The Cat-Eyes Project I have been set on? So quick recap is that I am wear trialling five chosen eyeliners from five major cosmetics brands to create the best thick sexy cat-eyes; wearing it solidly every day for a full week each.
So I chose to start with Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. Once you get the hang of the application brush it is a pretty amazing product. The texture is light whilst the colour is solid in a very natural way. The brush is relatively low maintenance and trust me on this as I am religious with anything hassle-free and low-maintenance! All it needs is a few sweeps on a clean tissue should the brush does start gathering residue or starts clumping itself up.
This might sound completely newb but I can't actually draw the line any thicker than this before it would reach the fold of my eyelids and start make marks all over it. I do prime my eyelids thoroughly with BareMineral's Prime Time with a light sweep of cake powder; it does help but the markings still occur. Am I missing something?
Here from the left is when the eyeliner is freshly applied and the last photo on the right is from an 18 hour day with two two-hour flights in it. I think this isn't bad for what it has been through! I would give this an 8/10 but I won't formally judge until I am through with the rest!
Next liner - Mac! Watch this space! x
